DLink IP Camera Viewer by OWLR App Reviews

This app is great! I was able to set up my camera within a couple minutes. It scanned my network and found them all and preloaded the correct IP information. I am also able to connect remotely with my current network configuration. I have it four stars because I have a couple concerns. Here they are; 1. I do not see the option to use HTTPS when connecting. This is a big deal. Please add this ASAP. Security is clearly an issue for anyone who has a home camera system. 2. I would like the ability to use the full potential of my cameras. (dcs-2132lb1, dcs-5222lb1) I do not have the ability to use PTT, enable audio, set day/night mode, or jump to PTZ presets. 3. Also, I use a VPN connection right now, and although I can connect remotely using my internal network IP addresses, it still prompted me to populate the external IP address fields. I did this using the same as my internal. 4. The ability to reorder your cameras within the app is missing along with a clear way to set motion detection on or off after the initial prompt you revive when setting up the camera. All in all, the design and functionality of this app is great! It has so much potential and I hope to see some of these changes making there way out. Keep up the great work devs!

These guys did a great job, detected my cam and was quick to connect. Simple.

The interface is easy to navigate and to control. Wether you are adding in a new camera, or interfacing with one already in your list.

Interface is clean and simple. Images from my DCS-935L, DCS-2330L and DCS-930L are of equal size, even with differing HD settings from the cameras. Very easy to set up, too. Definitely recommend!

Now I can keep track of my pups!! Keep up the good work!

Have the 5222L. Tried mydlink lite app first and it crashed on me everytime. Got frustrated and downloaded this! Its awesome! Thanks!!!

Left a review on the main owlr app as well. Amazing product. This works better than anything else for live viewing, including the junk that the vendors produce. Audio support would be great. Id pay for this product if they added it. Developer: it is worth mentioning that this works with the new dlink dcs2630l, and it works way better than dlink lite.

This really does work better then the D-Link app.

App needs audio. Its the only thing stopping this from being a usable app.

So much easier to use than myDLink Lite app. Finding and connecting to my cameras was so easy - and no need to ask what model or hardware number.

App is all around great! Have been using it now for 8 months, in all no issues. Configuring remote (external) access and ports was tricky at first. Great updates!

This app does everything I wanted it to and more! Should be on everyones list.

Easy set-up and use. Only issues with multiple cameras. Not able to select the one I want - it simply defaults. I can live with this glitch. Did research on issue but not much found. Would recommend without reservation.

Works with one camera (DCS-5010L) but not show the selected view for DCS-5029L. The image is grayed out and show a spinning wait image that displays forever.

This is the best dlink camera app I have found. Support sound and can toggle night mode. The zoom feature is quite good. Kudos to the developer!
